ABOUT THIS AWARD!
Bloomtrigger’s founder James Sutton was one of ten award finalist who had been selected to pitch their entrepreneurial idea through a 1 minute video for the chance of winning £1000 to be invested into their startup organisation. The votes are now in and we WON!
Winning this award is great recognition for the bloomtrigger project and will provide much needed investment to help develop our website further. The grant will be used to integrate our website with social media networks such as Facebook and Twitter to enable us to reach a much wider audience. Soon when people protect rainforest through Bloomtrigger they will be able to share this action with their network of friends in an even simpler way. The grant will also go towards the cost of translating our website into Spanish and Portuguese, so that individuals, businesses and Amazon communities across South America can also become a part of the bloomtrigger project!
A big thank you to the judges of this competition who selected Bloomtrigger as the winner and of course to everyone who voted for our video. With the points gained from all the votes combined with the scores from the judges means we came out top!
