Queen’s Park WANTED!
November 16, 2011 § Leave a comment
The bloomtrigger project is working hard to raise awareness in Queen’s Park since Salusbury Primary School became one of our pilot schools. The children from this school are very enthusiastic about protecting rainforest and have made some posters to be displayed in the windows of local businesses in Queen’s Park.
Boris ‘Bo’ Jr, the ambassador of bloomtrigger, scoured the area to display the posters and has been explaining to the employees and owners what the bloomtrigger project is all about. The vast majority happily agreed to display a poster in their shop windows for a week, helping to make people aware of bloomtrigger.
Continuing towards this goal, the pupils of Salusbury Primary School have written letters to local business. In these letters the children ask the local business to get involved in the bloomtrigger project by buying some ‘blooms’ and investing them into the school. As a consequence, the children will have more ‘blooms’ to plant in the map and will be able to carry on with their aim of helping to protect rainforest in Peru.
