A new development to bloomtrigger’s model to protect rainforest.

The cost of one ‘bloom’ goes up!
Since the recent launch of the bloomtrigger ‘pilot’ project we are learning quickly how best to adapt and improve bloomtrigger’s model to give it best possible chance to grow and be successful. An example of this continuous development which is taking place can be seen with the latest changes that has been made on our site bloomtrigger.com this morning. We have made a relatively dramatic change by making 1 bloom = 50p instead of previously being 2.5p per bloom.
The main reason for changing the value of a bloom to 50p means that there will be less blooms in the system, making it easier for teachers and everyone else to manage the project. Now that there will be less blooms in the project it makes each bloom awarded more special, so that the reward for a pupil earning a bloom is more meaningful.
It is important point out that the area of rainforest being protect will stay exactly the same, so £100 will still protect 1 hectare (10,000m2).
Keep an eye on the bloomtrigger as it is now beginning to grow!
